As a
founding member of the world known DJ crew The Trooperz, Quixotic
has performed all over the country including Washington DC, Florida,
New York City, Philadelphia, Montreal Canada, Los Angeles, San Jose
and San Francisco to name a few. He has competed and won in many nationally
respected battles and has been featured in the 2001 DMC USA Championships
DVD, the 2001 ITF National Championships and performed
along the likes of Busta Rhymes and Run DMC at the 2002
Guitar Center National Championships. Quixotic was also featured
in a feature film "The Beat" performing at a nightclub
scene. This film was critically acclaimed and featured
Brian McKnight and Coolio among others.
Quixotic
is not only an accomplished DJ/turntablist, but is in the works
producing an album of original music with production partner Defect.
With the completion of this album, the duo
will mass distribute it in hopes of landing a label deal. The album
has a soulful melodic sound along with thoughtful lyrics to back
the crowd pleasing production. A track entitled "Wristraining
Order" has already been featured on Bomb Record's
release "Return Of The Dj Vol. 5.5".
Never
settling, Quixotic also works in the film/video arena. An
artist of both the ears and the eyes, Quixotic's video work
is a melding of rhytmic almost musical editing along with colorfully
vibrant images. He has recently finished a short film titled "Push
The Button", directed a commercial for Avatar Record's
major release "Straight From The Crates Vol.1"
and wrapped up a music video of his own that blends live footage
with 3-D effects.
